Dear Dr. Shannon,
Just a quick note to thank you for fixing my father’s hearing aids yesterday afternoon. You finished your previous appointment, and then you spent 40 minutes cleaning and repairing my father’s aids. You saved us a potential $450 repair fill (from the manufacturer) and restored my father’s hearing. And even though you were busy, you took the time you needed to help me. And you did it with great kindness and grace and patience. You even apologized for how long it took you!
I cannot thank you enough for your help and kindness. Your front office staff were also extremely kind and helpful. They even made change for me from their own pockets, so I could buy a pack of new batteries.
It was a wonderful moment when I arrived home later that day, put my father’s aids back in, and knew he could hear me. So on behalf of my 100 year old father and 90 year old mother (whom I hope to bring to your office soon-she needs her hearing checked too), thank you, thank you thank you!
