We’re seeking an individual for our office in Goshen, NY who is personable, detail oriented, bright and inquisitive, a quick learner and an excellent communicator. The Patient Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients with a smile
- Answering the phones and taking thorough and accurate messages
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Insurance intake and verification
- Weekly accounting duties as directed
- Completing administrative processing/ electronic record keeping
- Preparing charts for the next day
- Must be eager to grow and develop with the position
Qualifications:
- Excellent patient-centered service skills
- Basic computer skills (Gmail, Word, some Excel, etc.)
- High School diploma or GED – some college preferred
- Experience working in a healthcare office preferred
- Resident of Orange County preferred
