Bobbi Lieberman has been in private practice for over 30 years, evaluating and treating children and adults with speech, hearing, language, and voice disorders. Additionally, she provides auditory verbal therapy (AVT), an auditory-based teaching approach for new recipients of cochlear implants. The goal of auditory-based teaching approaches for these patients is to teach the patient and family how to “learn to listen” again. She is a cum laude graduate of Queens College, with a degree in communication disorders, and received a Master of Arts degree from Hofstra University in speech and language disorders. Bobbi has worked in the Hofstra University Speech and Hearing Centers and Mt. Sinai Speech and Hearing Center.
