Dr. Farah Dubaybo is our newest audiologist at Hudson Valley Audiology. In 2013 she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Arabic from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She continued on to pursue her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine and completed her clinical training at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. While earning her graduate degree, Dr. Dubaybo completed clinical rotations at several hospitals, including Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, and the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. Her clinical interests include pediatrics and cochlear implants.
Dr. Dubaybo serves her community and profession by volunteering for a Chicago-based organization called Deaf Planet Soul (DPS), which advocates for people who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She will be joining DPS this summer as one of the lead audiologists on the second annual mission to Lebanon to bring language and hearing to displaced children and their families living in refugee camps. Dr. Dubaybo also serves on the board of the National Arab American Medical Association’s NYC chapter and continues to advocate for the profession of Audiology in the healthcare community.
