Sophia Patrikis, Au.D., FAAA

Audiologist

Sophia Patrikis received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in medical Spanish from James Madison University in 2013. She continued on to pursue her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) through the Long Island Consortium, a partnership between St. John’s, Hofstra, and Adelphi Universities. Dr. Patrikis completed the final year of her audiology doctoral studies here at the Hudson Valley Audiology Center from June 2016 – May 2017.

Dr. Patrikis is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA). Alongside being a full-time Audiologist with the practice, Dr. Patrikis is an Adjunct Professor within the SUNY New Paltz Communication Disorders Department. She has also volunteered as a team member with the Starkey Hearing Foundation Hearing Mission in Vietnam in January 2015, providing hearing services to those lacking access to care.

Her audiologic interests include amplification across the lifespan, pediatric diagnostics and rehabilitation, and cochlear implants. Sophia is a native of Rockland County and currently resides in Nyack, NY. In her free time, she enjoys running outdoors and spending time with her family.
