Sophia Patrikis received her BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Medical Spanish from James Madison University and continued on to pursue her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) through the Long Island Consortium, a partnership between St. John’s, Hofstra, and Adelphi Universities. Dr. Patrikis also completed her final year of doctoral studies here at the Hudson Valley Audiology Center.
Dr. Patrikis is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA). Alongside being an Audiologist with the practice, Dr. Patrikis is an Adjunct Professor within the SUNY New Paltz Communication Disorders Department. She has also volunteered as a team member with the Starkey Hearing Foundation Hearing Mission in Vietnam in January 2015, providing hearing services to those lacking access to care.
Her audiologic interests include amplification across the lifespan, pediatric diagnostics and rehabilitation, and cochlear implants. Sophia is a native of Rockland County and currently resides in Orange County with her husband and two sons. In her free time, she enjoys running outdoors and spending time with her family.
